In my previous post about DC Unlimited's World of Warcraft Tamuura figure, I mentioned that I accidentally broke off the end of her sword while I was trying to get it into her hand. I thought that maybe I was the only one who had that problem, but two other people mentioned that their Tamuuras' swords broke too.
So this really isn't just a case of one person being clumsy with the figure; it seems like the figure's sword sculpt is defective.
Here are the manual's instructions regarding how to remove the sword:
Pulling off the said bottom piece proved to be next to impossible, and at some point I broke it off when I was trying to wiggle it off.
I think that this defective sword problem should be made known to DC Unlimited. It's not fair that we spent good money on this figure only to have part of it break like at. and I have been trying to find a way to complain to DC Unlimited about this, but their site provides no contact information. The message boards may be a good way to go about it, but I thought that perhaps it would be best if I gather comments from other people who have observed the same problem with their Tamuura figures before we post there.
If you own a Tamuura figure and also had problems with her sword, post your comments/complaints here. If you have pictures of your Tamuura's broken sword, feel free to share them with us as well.

Happened to me as well.
Ordered one on ebay from Germany. First off the tail didn’t quite fit. I had to create some more space using a scissor. After putting a lot a pressure on the tail it finally went in. Tried to detach the back part of the sword as instructed and it just would not come of. I have various other figurines that don’t have that problem at all. Tried jiggling it a little. This resulted in the sword breaking at the tip like you said. Had to glue it together with superglue. At first I thought it was a forgery but it didn’t look like that at all. All packaging was original and the figure itself seemed fine. Plus its from a german retailer and not some guy from Hong Kong.
