The WoW Questionnaire

I haven't been playing WoW at all lately. Things just got boring for me, plus my guildmates transferred to an Oceanic server and I don't feel like spending cash on a server transfer. Maybe answering this questionnaire that I stole from MMO Gamer Chick will help me remember why I loved playing WoW in the first place.

1. Raider, farmer, PvPer, or altoholic?
What, no "pseudo-Roleplayer/Lorenerd" or "Quester", or do those count under "farmer"? If that's the case, then I'm a farmer. I also got into PvP a bit before I stopped playing. I have a lot of alts, but I'm not exactly an altoholic since I haven't actually leveled any of them to 80.

2. Favorite raid or dungeon?

The Icecrown dungeons (especially Halls of Reflection) are always fun for me because I love Sylvanas a whole lot and I enjoy fighting by her side.

3. Number one choice for a new playable race?

I've always thought it'd be fun to play as a Vrykul. :p

4. Class you suck the most at?
Any melee class except Retadins. I've become so used to ranged/magic classes that I seriously can't pick up a melee class properly. Retadins = faceroll, so it's been a ball so far.

5. Original UI or modded UI?
Modded UI. The original UI doesn't display all the information I need to see!

6. Profession you’ve never leveled past 200?
Everything except Skinning and Leatherworking. I was too lazy to grind anything other than those two, lol.

7. Favorite flying mount?

My current favorite is my blue drake, but I have a feeling the Netherwing Drake mounts will be my favorites once I get them.

8. Nozdormu — friend or foe, you figure?
Friend? At least that's what I hope he is.

9. Useless item you have in your bank that you’ll never get rid of?
I have two: Seal of Sylvanas and Signet of Bridenbrad. I love Sylvanas to death, and Bridenbrad made me sad. They were useful when I was lower-level/had low-level gear, but they're useless to me now. Doesn't mean they're meaningless, though.

[EDIT: LOL I completely forgot I had one more useless item in my bank: Lament of the Highborne. I did mention that I love Sylvanas, didn't I? :p]

10. Most expensive thing you’ve ever bought?
Epic flying skill. A guildmate had to help me pay for it.

11. Favorite starting area?
Sunstrider Isle and The Sepulcher. Yes, I'm biased toward Blood Elves and Forsaken.

12. Inane goal you worked hardest to achieve?

When my Hunter was still low-level, I went all the way to Orgrimmar, ran down Durotar with Aspect of the Cheetah on (no mount yet), and swam to the Echo Isles just to tame a tiger pet. It wasn't that hard to achieve, but I think it's one of the most inane things I've ever put effort into.

13. Darion Mograine VS Tirion Fordring, gloves off — winner is?
If it were up to me, it would be Mograine just because I'm not fond of goody-goody paladins and Darion seems far more badass than Tirion. Lore-wise though, Tirion seems too OP for Mograine to beat.

14. Game music or your own playlist?
Game music. WoW is one of those games with a really, really nice musical score.

15. Particular option or setting that you always toggle on a new alt/server?
I always make sure to increase the opacity of the chat window's background.

16. Highest amount of levels gained in one play session?
I forgot. 6-7?

17. Thing you’d most like to experience or see in-game?

The Blood Elf leaders getting involved in more interesting things (and I don't mean involved in each other, as the above image may imply). I mean, come on. People don't even remember Lor'themar Theron's name half the time. My prayers may be answered in Cataclysm, though, since one of them will become a turncoat.

18. Worst PuG moment?
Too many to mention. This post lists a couple of them.

19. Best dungeon/raid moment?
This is shallow, but getting past Saurfang in ICC felt awesome. I never even thought I'd get that far with my awful internet connection.

20. Worst quest ever that you totally hate doing?
I hate Fishing quests. Especially if when Alliance Warlock suddenly sneaks up on you, casts his DoTs, and runs away, cackling. ...well, he wasn't cackling, but I imagine he was feeling pretty smug.

21. First thing you do when you hit 80?
I only have one 80, and I think the first thing I did was buy my new skills.

22. Character (of yours) you would RP as if you had to?
Arinae. I've already made feeble attempts at RPing her anyway.

23. Keyboard, mouse, or both for using abilities?
Keyboard.

24. Thottbot or Wowhead?
What, people still use Thottbot? LOL. I use Wowhead (I even have the tooltips installed right here on Fangirlisms.com).

25. Acronym you’ve seen in chat but don’t understand?
I'm pretty much familiar with the common acronyms used in WoW.

26. Plot point you’d like to see resolved someday?
Where did Maiev go after Illidan died? Where the hell are Alleria and Turalyon? Will Lor'themar Theron's in-game model ever be redesigned?

27. Biggest thing you’re looking forward to in Cataclysm?

MALE WORGEN HUNTER + MASTIFF PET. YES PLEASE. Also, Undead Hunters. And Energy instead of Mana for Hunters. And Paladins summoning shit. Also, new Forsaken architecture. And Vol'Jin kicking Garrosh's arse. Too many exciting things about Cata!

28. Guild event you’d like to see?

Moar Mammoth Trains!

Seriously though, nothing's coming to mind. Probably because I've never been a really active guild member.

29. Level range you hate being in?
75-80. It's like level grinding suddenly becomes rendered in SLOW MOTION during this phase.

30. Favorite map to quest in?

Shadowmoon Valley was my most recent favorite, but only because of Mordenai, who might be related to my boyfriend's paladin (Mordad) and my hunter (Arinae) the Netherwing dragonflight.

...I still don't really feel like playing WoW, but now I'm at least tempted to because I really want those Netherwing mounts. Thank you, WoW questionnaire, for reminding me of another inane goal I wanted to achieve before Cataclysm arrives.
