Hasty 2010 Recap

You know, I had this nice plan to do a lengthy and nostalgic post about how 2010 went for me, which 2010 fandoms came and went and which ones will leave a permanent impression on my mind and soul... but no, our internet had to crap out for almost the entire month of December (and even up to now). I only get around 5 minutes of internet up-time before it disconnects again and I have to fiddle with our router to get it working again.

Anyway. One half-baked Fangirlisms 2010 recap coming up.

• Garrus, Garrus, Garrus... and guess what? Even more Garrus! Probably one of the craziest and longest stages of insane fangirlisms I've ever had. Thank you, BioWare, for making me go nuts over a freaking alien.
• I realized how much of a sentimental sap I was when I started writing about my OTPs.
• I had an on-and-off relationship with World of Warcraft last year. I think we're "off" for good now, though that's not stopping me from buying WoW merchandise like the gorgeous Alathena Moonbreeze and Sylvanas Windrunner figures by DC Unlimited (I also bought Quin'thalan Sunfire, actually, but I completely forgot to take pics of him).
• Fangirlisms went live on Twitter, and was actually more active there thanks to my linked accounts on Raptr and GoodReads.
• Had an outburst regarding a certain genre that I dislike, only to find out later just how sick the said genre could get. Yeaugh.
• The blog moved from its original home on WordPress.com to its own domain at Fangirlisms.com.
• My good friend, Isa, agreed to be a guest writer on the blog.

So that's pretty much it for Fangirlisms 2010 (plus a couple of book reviews here and there, and a couple of film reviews too). It would've been a much better, fruitful year of blogging if I actually made more time to post or actually finish some of the drafts I had lying around (there were around four or five wasted drafts for 2010). I'd say that I'm definitely going to try to post more often this year, but my internet being broken isn't giving me much of a headstart.

Anyway, belated happy new year to all two or three of you people who are still reading this blog. :p
