Welcome to the revival of Aesthetic Visions (AV)! This semi-automated TCG is all about appreciating great artists and works of art from around the world. AV is currently Open! Feel free to poke around the site and send in a join form! :D
Aesthetic Visions(AV) is currently Open! It was opened on January 1, 2012, and is owned by El. It currently has 1800 cards in 90 decks, and there are a total of 18 players currently registered.

As promised, AV is now a semi-automated TCG! Sorry it took me so long; I'm working a full-time job now, so I barely have enough time to spare. Hopefully this new format will make it easier for me to update things. :)
Games and Activities
Games are ready to play! Weekly games are automated, so you don't have to wait for me to update them to play. :) Manually-updated games (Artist Profiler, Title Test, Damaged Piece, Artist Attribution, and Words of Wisdom) have either been removed or turned into monthly games, but Pick-A-Crayola Color has been replaced with a new weekly game (Pick a Medium). Monthly games will be updated every end of the month, but we're in the middle of March already, you can play the rounds currently available in the Games section. :)
Game rewards are still the same as before, as you'll be able to play more games per week than the previous arrangement. That means you'll be getting more cards in one week! :)
Trader Rewards revisions are still in the works, but keep on tracking those trades for now! Remember, it's 1 card = 1 trade. :)
Deck Releases and Other Updates
Updates not related to Monthly games will be done sporadically, whenever I have enough decks (5 or 6) for release or if I have new items for the Shop. I know I promised an every-other-week deck release, but looking at my work schedule, I don't think I'll manage to keep that up on a regular basis. I'll try to make them as often as I possibly can.
Forum and Forum Activites
The forum is gone, and so are all the forum-related activities. I'll probably ask for donations for specific artists if I really can't find images for them myself, but those donations will have to be e-mailed to me directly.
AV Souvenir Shop
The AV Souvenir Shop is a simple way to spend your florins. All you have to do is fill up the form, pick up your purchases (random cards and art prints from the Randomizer and the Shop page itself, or choice cards from your the card's deck page), remove the florins from your tradepost, and that's it.
I'm sorry for making you guys do all the picking up, but I really can't promise swift responses to your Shop e-mails! The forms will go into my inbox within the day you send them, and will double-check your purchases whenever I can. I'll also be keeping a personal log of who purchased what.
Remember to read the rules/guidelines in the Shop page before making a purchase!

I've been working on a couple of plans to convert AV into a semi-automated TCG, and here's a couple of things that will be happening:
- Manually updated games will either be removed, replaced, or turned into Monthly games.
- The forums will no longer be used, but some of the forum activities MAY be converted to site-hosted ones.
- Florins will remain, but the AV Card/Souvenir Shop will be hosted on-site, and will likely be updated manually once every two weeks.
- Deck releases will be done every other week instead of every week.
I think that's most of it. I'm currently working on the new games and trying to figure out how to tweak the rewards to make up for the reduced number of games.
Oh, and just so you guys can still get some cards and trade while the conversion process is on-going, you can grab five cards from "Regular Cards" section of the Randomizer per week until I'm done!

It seems that we've been losing many members without gaining any, and aside from that fact being very discouraging, I think my excitement about reopening this old TCG and all is starting to wear out.
Those of you who are still around and active, don't worry; AV won't be closing. I'll simply be converting this into a sort-of mini-TCG. This means that I'll probably be ditching most of the forum activities, as well as the games that require me to update them manually. I'll adjust the awards if need be, and I'll be checking in every so often to release new decks.
I'll keep you guys posted on the conversion process, but for now, please grab another five cards from the Randomizer plus one choice card as another apology and as my way of saying thanks for sticking around.
