It’s official: HBO has greenlit the A Game of Thrones TV series! They’ve also released the very first promotional image for the series.
George R. R. Martin posted a lot in one go on his LiveJournal this morning, including news about the HBO Game of Thrones pilot and A Dance with Dragons.
Like Sean Bean, Lena Headey wasn’t one of the first people I thought of as cast members for A Game of Thrones, but she’s a great choice for the role.
