Looks like I finished up my playthrough of Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey right on time! The trailer for the latest installment of the series, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is up, and it’s glorious.

I’m seeing some people complaining about how this doesn’t even feel like an Assassin’s Creed game anymore (hidden blades aside), but come on. The option to play as a woman? Norse mythology? More combat badassery? An upgradeable settlement? If this game is as much fun as Odyssey turned out to be, sign me up for this Viking adventure!

The game will officially launch during the holiday season of 2020, but it’s up for pre-order now. Those add-ons that come with the Collector’s Edition look pretty cool (especially that Viking figure of Eivor)!
