Barely 2 Seconds of Amber Heard in the Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom Trailer
Well, well, look who we have here. Amber Heard appears for just a moment in the new Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom trailer.
This marks her return to acting after the public circus show of a defamation trial in 2022. To say that Heard was subjected to “intense vitriol” over that entire fiasco honestly feels like a massive understatement, especially after seeing how people have been reacting to this very very short appearance:
What a surprise, AH was angry and hitting something.

During the legal proceedings, Heard testified that Warner Bros. (the owner of DC Comics) “didn’t want to include [her]” in the sequel and had significantly reduced her character’s role from the original script. Reports circulated suggesting that Heard’s appearance in the sequel amounted to only “about 10 minutes.” The recently released trailer has reignited speculation about the accuracy of these rumors.
Director James Wan rumors of Amber Heard’s “reduced role” on September 13
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Wan said: “The first ‘Aquaman’ was Arthur and Mera’s journey. The second movie was always going to be Arthur and Orm. So, the first was a romance action-adventure movie, the second one is a bromance action-adventure movie. We’ll leave it at that.”

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will premiere in theaters on December 20, 2023.
Given that DC Studios’ new co-CEOs, James Gunn and Peter Safran, are revamping the DC Universe with new actors and movies, this could be the may be the last movie in the current version of the DCEU.
